Description
Your story of decadence and doom awaits in a world of rust and ruin. Discover your faction. Confront the Ruin. What will you do with the time you have left?
Our Brilliant Ruin is a tabletop roleplaying game set in the Dramark, a place where the last fragile remains of society live in the shadow of a dying world. The Ruin, a preternatural force befouling everything it touches, has ravaged geography and culture alike, wreaking destructive havoc and loosing monstrous creatures into a previously bucolic region. Written by industry veterans Justin Achilli (World of Darkness series, Assassins Creed series), Rachel J. Wilkinson (Vampire the Masquerade: Port Saga, Dune: Adventures in the Imperium), and Pam Punzalan (Journeys through the Radiant Citadel, 2022 Nebula Award Finalist), this tabletop roleplaying game is the first of many steps into the world of Our Brilliant Ruin.
A complete roleplaying game, this book contains:
– A guide to the world of the Dramark, and the gilded-age wonders and Ruined horrors it contains
– An overview of the aristocrat, truefolk, and unbonded factions, and their many families, guilds, and other organizations
– Systems for character creation, gameplay rules, a regional gazetteer, and gallery of allies and antagonists
